KLINGERSIL C-4500 Gasket

KLINGERSIL C-4500 is a superior-performance gasket material that combines carbon fibres and special heat-resistant additives with an NBR bond. It was developed specifically for the demands of the chemical industry, where higher temperatures, alkaline media and superheated steam push conventional compressed fibre sheets past their limits.
Alongside its high-temperature capability, C-4500 resists oils, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, moderate organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and refrigerants — a combination that also earns it a place in oil and gas, energy, pulp and paper and general industrial plants.
