PTFE 2005 FDA
PTFE 2005 FDA

Revision: 00/24.06.02

Material: TEADIT packing style 2005 FDA is braided from a new type of proprietary yarn made from expanded PTFE with highly refined mineral filler particles.

Properties: Style 2005 FDA is a very supple packing with consistently high density and flexibility. Fast and simple to install, with minimum maintenance requirements. Because of the malleability of the unique yarn used for this packing, emissions (leakage) can be adjusted very finely and reduced to extremely low levels. Highest chemical resistance, very low coefficient of friction. FDA conformity.

Application areas: Although primarily designed as a valve packing, style 2005 FDA can also be used for slow moving rotating equipment like centrifugal pumps and reciprocating pumps, sliders, mixers, etc.

PTFE 2006 FDA

Revision: 00/24.06.02

Material: TEADIT style 2006 FDA is diagonally braided from a newly developed expanded PTFE yarn, filled with highly refined mineral filler particles, treated with FDA-conform mineral oil.

Properties: Very malleable and supple packing with low coefficient of friction, hardly any shaft wear. The filler particles inside the yarn enhance the heat transfer properties as well as lubricant absorption and retention over a longer period. Excellent chemical resistance. Easy to install, needs little gland adjustments. Conforms to FDA regulations.

Application areas: Style 2006 FDA can be used in rotary pumps, piston pumps, agitators, mixers, sliders and valves in all kinds of industry.

PTFE 2007
 PTFE 2007

Revision: 3/26.11.98

Material: Diagonally braided from pure, expanded PTFE-yarn with incorporated graphite, lubricated with silicone oil.

Properties: The suppleness, chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction and excellent heat dissipation properties of PTFE/graphite make TEADIT style 2007 one of the most widely used and most versatile packings in the market. FMPA and WRc approvals. Chloride content < 20 ppm

Application areas: Very versatile pump packing, can also be used for valves, mixers, agitators, etc. Style 2007 is particularly well suited for service involving high peripheral speeds and temperatures, where pure PTFE packings fail.

PTFE 2024
PTFE 2024

Revision: 2/09.06.98

Material: TEADIT 2024 is an extruded packing made from pure PTFE-fine-powder and a food approved lubricant. Available in round and square cross sections.

Properties: Style 2024 is a soft and dense packing. It has a very low coefficient of friction, excellent resistance to gas permeation and is self-lubricating. Style 2024 remains soft and pliable even after long service, which reduces friction on shafts and spindles. Can be used in areas where the naturally dark colour of TEADIT style 2022 is unsuitable, i.e. in the food and pharmaceutical industry.

Application areas: Suitable for use in pumps, mixers, sliders, valves, but also many static applications. Because of the softness of the packing, it is normally installed with a braided top and bottom ring. Depending on the prevailing pressure and medium, TEADIT styles 2422, 2044, 2005 or 2006 can be recommended for this purpose.

PTFE 2076
2070_0

Revision: 2/09.06.98

Material: TEADIT style 2076 is diagonally braided from 100% pure gPTFE-yarn (PTFE with incorporated graphite).

Properties: Because style 2076 is made from pure gPTFE, it has excellent heat dissipating properties and an extremely low coefficient of friction. This packing does not adhere to shafts or spindles. BAM approval. Chloride content < 20 ppm

Application areas: Although mainly a valve packing, style 2076 can also be used for slow moving rotary and reciprocating equipment like plunger pumps etc. Suitable for very demanding applications in most industries, including the paint and lacquer industry.

PTFE 2124
2124

Revision: 2/09.06.98

Material: Round packing braided from 100% pure PTFE-tapes, wrapped with a layer of PTFE-tapes.

Properties: EADIT style 2124 is an extremely pliable and durable valve stem packing. Made of 100% pure PTFE, it has excellent chemical and thermal resistance, as well as an exceptionally low level of friction and adhesion. BAM approval.

Application areas: Although predominately a valve packing, style 2124 can also be used as a static seal in many different areas.

PTFE 2500
2500

Revision: 01/15.04.04

Material: TEADIT style 2500 consists of a special hollow rubber core, wrapped in a layer of pure PTFE-tapes. This is surrounded by a cushion of synthetic fibres, again wrapped in a layer of PTFE-tapes, and a braided outer jacket of strong and durable, lubricated PTFE yarn.

Properties: Universally usable tank lid packing with extremely high chemical resistance and flexibility. Will remain resilient for years. Available in square and rectangular cross sections.

Application areas: Style 2500 can be used with all kind of tank lids, hatches etc. for ships, barges, road- and rail transport vehicles, storage tanks etc.

PTFE 3070 FDA
3070_0

Revision: 01/15.04.04

Material: TEADIT style 3070 FDA is constructed from expanded, filled PTFE-fibres, impreganted with PTFE-dispersion and an inert mineral oil which conforms to FDA regulations

Properties: Style 3070 FDA is a braided PTFE-tube, formed into various rectangular cross sections. This makes an excellent static seal which can be used with a wide variety of media, including the most aggressive ones.

Application areas: Static seal for metallic and non metallic flanges, covers, lids, hatches, chemical reactors, etc.
